Bristol Soap Co. was founded by Christine Brown with the vision to elevate the humble, simple bar soap into a luxurious and sensorial cleansing experience. Made with heirloom family recipes, the highest quality plant-derived ingredients, and traditional handcrafting processes handed down for generations, our products are designed to appeal to the senses, capture imaginations, and heal the spirit.

Unable to find existing products that were at once effective, enjoyable, and gentle enough for her son’s sensitive skin, Christine began making bar soaps for family and friends after being taught the family legacy. A lifelong lover of everything creative and logical, she began experimenting with powerful botanical ingredients and mastering the art and science of soap and skincare, inspired by the complex histories of her family and life, natural cleansing and protection, herbalism, and her High Plains childhood.

At Bristol Soap Co. we envision bringing that sense of belonging and grounding to your daily self care rituals, through our interpretation and rediscovery of the past and drawing inspiration from our heritage and prairie life.
We vow to use the highest quality botanical and natural actives to craft a line of multipurpose and effective skincare products. We believe cleansing is the heart of any skincare regiment and should be a luxurious and indulgent experience, and that all other products must support the health of the cutaneous ecosystem.
From our love of the Earth and all of it’s facets, we pledge to use only processes, packaging, suppliers, and raw materials that fit the highest standards of purity, sustainability, climate positivity, socio-economic equality, and benefit for our current world and the future.

Bristol Soap Co. artisanal botanical soaps are handcrafted in small batches in southern Wyoming, with our heirloom recipes, the highest-quality, organic ingredients, and traditional manual processes to let every good-for-you essence shine.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, informing the decisions we make from the oils we use to our choice of packaging. Each product is uncompromisingly sourced, from the best growers, extractors, distillers, and collectors in the world, then combined, mixed, poured, cut, and stamped by hand, cured for a minimum of 8 weeks, and gently packaged, by our family and helpers.

Life is too amazing to pick just one thing to be
Since Christine heard the term “Renaissance Man” she has wanted to learn everything and do it all. She believes that a life in service of others is the only life worth living.
Today she is an entrepreneur, farm girl, military brat + spouse, cancer survivor, perpetual student, homeschooling mum of 4, pet parent to 7, fixer-extraordinaire, avid volunteer, ecological advocate, and a practicing Roman Catholic.
In her free time she loves to watch movies with her family, to read anything and everything, to sing to anything with a beat, to learn Italian, to practice pilates, and to travel as much as possible.
Her favorite things to be called are determined, tenacious, driven, and a jane-of-all-trades.
